Why is the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25 important? The tournament comes with added significance this time as the ICC Champions Trophy is less than two months away. While the majority of the squad picks itself, there are still places up for grabs and good performance in the Vijay Hazare Trophy will put players in good stead ahead of the squad selection.
India last played an ODI series in July this year and thus the tournament will play a crucial role for players on the fringe of the Indian side.
