The Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships is a biennial tournament that is organised by Badminton Asia to crown the best national badminton mixed team in all of Asia. (More Badminton News)
The tournament started as an single event for mixed teams since 2017, 12 months after the Asian Confederation organised Asia Men’s and Women’s Team Championships.
The 2025 tournament will be held in Qingdao, China from February 11 to February 16.
China have won the event twice in 2023 and 2019, while Japan clinched the title in the inaugural edition in 2015. The tournament was not held in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 2017 edition of the event was hosted in Vietnam, while China and United Arab Emirates played host for the 2019 and 2023 tournaments, respectively.

On the other hand, South Korea secured their first win of the tournament with a 3-2 victory over China. Goals from Hyeonhong, Junghoo, and Jihun (55') clinched the win for their side.
China got off to a positive start as they kept the ball under control, and made it difficult for the Koreans to break through.
